Happy Anniversary!

Wow, I can't believe Dave and I have been married two years! To celebrate the day, Dave took the day off of work and we spent the whole day hanging out together (I already had the day off b/c of Spring Break, yay for spring break.) It was awesome!

The amazing day started off with a nice breakfast. I made yummy donut muffins and eggs. The rest of the morning exemplified the theme of the day; "there's no such thing as time." We played cards together, laid around, and then decided to go on a picnic.

At Freestone park we played a little tennis. I'm terrible, especially when compared to Dave, but we had a good time. Check out Dave's power serve.

Our company at lunch:

After lunch at the park we went home and cleaned up for a movie and dinner. We went and saw Vantage Point. It was alright, nothing that must been seen in the theater. After much debate as to where to go for dinner, we ended up at Anzio Landing. I love place. It's beautiful there and their creme brulee is to die for. We went home and watched the Suns beat the Trailblazers, it was the perfect end to the perfect day. To me the day felt like a day activity for a dance, only difference was (besides there being no dance) I actually liked my date, and I didn't have to say goodbye at the end. :)

Once again, I love spring

In celebration of not having to go to Swimkids my mom and I went on a hike out by the Superstition Mountains. It was a beautiful day and spring has definitely sprung!

Fruit season

I love spring and summer because they mean fresh fruit. On Saturday I was at Sprouts and they had blueberries on sale for 4 for $5, so I bought some. I got home and got on the internet and started looking for something yummy to make with my blueberries. I found a recipe for blue berry breakfast bars. I've never made breakfast bars before so I thought it would be a great thing to try. I'm so glad I was right. The bars were easy to make and they turned out great.
